Preparation	This antibody was produced from a hybridoma (mouse myeloma fused with spleen cells) from a mouse immunized with Recombinant human SOCS-3 (Suppressor of cytokine signaling 3). SOCS-3 is also called CIS3 and is a widely expressed 30kDa protein that inhibits signal transduction induced by multiple cytokines including Erythropoietin, IL-6, LIF, Oncostatin M, and Leptin.
Formulation and Storage	The IgG fraction of culture supernatant was purified by Protein G affinity chromatography and lyophilized from a 0.2um filtered solution in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS). Lyophilized samples are stable for 2 years from the date of receipt when stored at -70C
Specificity	This antibody recognizes human SOCS-3 in direct ELISAs and WBs. It cross reacts with mouse SOCS-3 in WBs
Reconstitution	Reconstitute the antibody with 500ul sterile PBS and the final concentration is 200ug/ml. Reconstituted antibody can also be aliquoted and stored frozen at < -20 for at least for six months without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
