Preparation	This antibody was produced from a hybridoma (mouse myeloma fused with spleen cells) from a mouse immunized with Recombinant human PTP (Protein Tyrosine Phosphatase) mu. PTP mu is also called Protein Tyrosine Phosphatase, receptor type M (PTPRM) and is expressed at highest levels in pulmonary vascular epithelia, where interactions with cadhedrins are believed to be important in regulating barrier permeability.
Formulation and Storage	The IgG fraction of culture supernatant was purified by Protein G affinity chromatography and lyophilized from a 0.2um filtered solution in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS). Lyophilized samples are stable for 2 years from the date of receipt when stored at -70C
Specificity	This antibody recognizes human PTP mu in direct ELISAs and WBs. It cross reacts with mouse and rat PTP mu in WBs.
Reconstitution	Reconstitute the antibody with 500ul sterile PBS and the final concentration is 200ug/ml. Reconstituted antibody can also be aliquoted and stored frozen at < -20 for at least for six months without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
