Preparation	This antibody was produced from a hybridoma (mouse myeloma fused with spleen cells) from a mouse immunized with recombinant human MCHR1 (melanin-concentrating hormone receptor-1). MCHR1 is also called GPR24 (G-protein coupled receptor 24) or SLC1 (somatostatin receptor-like 1) and is an approximately 44kDa, seven-transmembrane receptor for MHC
Formulation and Storage	The IgG fraction of culture supernatant was purified by Protein G affinity chromatography and lyophilized from a 0.2um filtered solution in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS). Lyophilized samples are stable for 2 years from the date of receipt when stored at -70C
Specificity	This antibody recognizes human MCHR1 in direct ELISAs and WBs. It cross reacts with mouse and rat MCHR1 in WBs.
Reconstitution	Reconstitute the antibody with 500ul sterile PBS and the final concentration is 200ug/ml. Reconstituted antibody can also be aliquoted and stored frozen at < -20 for at least for six months without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
