Preparation	This antibody was produced from a hybridoma (mouse myeloma fused with spleen cells) from a mouse immunized with recombinant human HSP60 (Heat Shock Protein 60). HSP60 is also called Chaperonin 60 (CPN60) and is a mitochondrial matrix protein belonging to a highly conserved family of molecular chaperone and stress response proteins.
Formulation and Storage	The IgG fraction of culture supernatant was purified by Protein G affinity chromatography and lyophilized from a 0.2um filtered solution in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS). Lyophilized samples are stable for 2 years from the date of receipt when stored at -70C
Specificity	This antibody recognizes human HSP60 in direct ELISAs and WBs. It cross reacts with mouse and rat HSP60 in WBs.
Reconstitution	Reconstitute the antibody with 500ul sterile PBS and the final concentration is 200ug/ml. Reconstituted antibody can also be aliquoted and stored frozen at < -20 for at least for six months without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
