Rat Monoclonal anti-human FKBP-12 |
| Size | 100ug |
| Immunogen | Recombinant human FKBP-12 |
| Clone | MM0998-3D26 |
| Antibody Isotype | Rat IgG2 |
| Preparation | This antibody was produced from a hybridoma (mouse myeloma fused with spleen cells) from a rat immunized with recombinant human FKBP-12 (FK506 binding protein, 12 kilodalton molecular weight). FKBP12 is also called FKBP1 and was originally characterized as a peptidyl-prolyl isomerase that catalyzes the transition between cis- and trans-proline residues critical for proper folding of proteins. |
| Formulation and Storage | The IgG fraction of culture supernatant was purified by Protein G affinity chromatography and lyophilized from a 0.2um filtered solution in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS). Lyophilized samples are stable for 2 years from the date of receipt when stored at -70C |
| Specificity | This antibody recognizes human FKBP-12 in direct ELISAs and WBs. It cross reacts with mouse FKBP-12 in WBs. |
| Reconstitution | Reconstitute the antibody with 500ul sterile PBS and the final concentration is 200ug/ml. Reconstituted antibody can also be aliquoted and stored frozen at < -20 for at least for six months without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. |
