Preparation	This antibody was produced from a hybridoma (mouse myeloma fused with spleen cells) from a mouse immunized with recombinant human ATG5 (Autophagy related protein 5). ATG5 is also called APG5L and Apoptosisspecific Protein and is a ubiquitous 32 kDa member of the ATG family of proteins.
Formulation and Storage	The IgG fraction of culture supernatant was purified by Protein G affinity chromatography and lyophilized from a 0.2um filtered solution in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS). Lyophilized samples are stable for 2 years from the date of receipt when stored at -70C
Specificity	This antibody recognizes human ATG5 in direct ELISAs and WBs. It cross reacts with mouse and rat ATG5 protein in WBs.
Reconstitution	Reconstituted antibody can also be aliquoted and stored frozen at < -20 for at least for six months without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
