ID Mouse Monoclonal anti-TRIP8b Antibody
Antigen Description TRIP8b is a protein that binds to and regulates hyperpolarization-activated cyclic nucleotide-gated (HCN) channels, an important class of voltage-gated channels. Binding of TRIP8b to HCN channels causes them to open at more hyperpolarized potentials, as TRIP8b antagonizes the binding of cyclic nucleotides. Additionally, TRIP8b affects HCN channel subcellular localization. Via these functions, TRIP8b plays a role in learning and memory, major depressive disorder, and epilepsy.
Size 100ug
Immunogen Recombinant protein corresponding to the N-terminus of rat TRIP8b
Clone #N212/17
Antibody Isotype Mouse IgG2a
Host Species Mouse
Preparation The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography.
Formulation The IgG fraction of culture supernatant was purified by Protein G affinity chromatography and lyophilized from a 0.2 um filtered solution in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS).
