Antigen Description	CD11a is a 160-170 kD glycoprotein also known as aL integrin, or LFA-1 a chain. It is a member of the integrin family and forms a heterodimer with ß2 integrin (CD18). The LFA-1 (CD11a/CD18) is broadly expressed on leukocytes and mediates intercellular adhesion and cellular activation. CD54 (ICAM-1), CD102 (ICAM-2), and CD50 (ICAM-3) are the ligands of LFA-1.

Preparation	The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography.

Storage & Handling	Reconstitute the antibody with 200 ul sterile PBS and the final concentration is 0.5mg/ml. Reconstituted antibody can also be aliquoted and stored frozen at < -20C for at least for six months without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
