Antigen Description	Beta 2-microglobulin (ß2M) is a 12 kDa, Ig like, non-membrane-anchored glycoprotein. It non-covalently associates with MHC class I heavy chain and some Class I-like molecules and serves as the light chain. In association with MHC class I, ß2M is expressed on all leukocytes, platelets, endothelial cells, and epithelial cells. ß2M plays an essential role in stabilizing MHC class I complexes for antigen presentation. In humans, circulating ß2M levels are elevated in autoimmune/inflammatory disorders, viral infections, and glomerular filtration disorders.

Preparation	The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography.

Storage & Handling	Reconstitute the antibody with 200 ul sterile PBS and the final concentration is 0.5mg/ml. Reconstituted antibody can also be aliquoted and stored frozen at < -20C for at least for six months without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
