ID Mouse Monoclonal anti-Human MRP1 (ABCC1) Antibody
Antigen Description MRP1 is a 190 kD integral membrane phosphoglycoprotein. It is a member of the human ATP-binding cassette transporter multidrug resistance protein1 (MRP1), encoded by ABCC1. MRP1 is expressed in most normal tissues, with higher levels in the testes, lung, skin, small intestine, colon, kidney, placenta, peripheral blood mononuclear cells, and skeletal muscle. ABCC1 encodes plasma membrane proteins that have important physiological transport functions and mediate a variety of xenobiotics against their concentration gradients. MRP1 plays an important role in the extrusion of drugs from the cell and their over expression can be a cause of failure of anticancer and antimicrobial chemotherapy.
Size 100ug
Immunogen QCRL-1 was raised against membranes prepared from the human small cell lung cancer cell line, H69AR, which highly over expresses MRP1.
Clone #QCRL-1
Antibody Isotype Mouse IgG1
Host Species Mouse
Preparation The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography.
Formulation The IgG fraction of culture supernatant was purified by Protein G affinity chromatography and lyophilized from a 0.2 um filtered solution in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS).
Application ICFC
Storage & Handling Reconstitute the antibody with 200 ul sterile PBS and the final concentration is 0.5mg/ml. Reconstituted antibody can also be aliquoted and stored frozen at < -20C for at least for six months without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
