Antigen Description	Ankryin G is a submembranous scaffold protein expressed in a variety of tissues, including brain, heart, and muscle. In the neurons, Ankyrin G is localized in the axon initial segment and the nodes of Ranvier. Ankyrin G binds to ßIV spectrin and actin to create a submembranous cytoskeletal network in axons. By itself, Ankyrin G controls the ion channel clustering and the maintenance of neuronal polarity.

Preparation	The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography.

Storage & Handling	Reconstitute the antibody with 200 ul sterile PBS and the final concentration is 0.5mg/ml. Reconstituted antibody can also be aliquoted and stored frozen at < -20C for at least for six months without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
