Product Name Platelet-Derived Growth Factor B, Human Recombinant
Synonyms Glioma-derived growth factor, GDGF, Osteosarcoma-derived Growth Factor, ODGF, SIS, SSV, PDGF2, c-sis, FLJ12858, PDGF-BB, PDGF B-chain, Platelet-derived growth factor beta polypeptide, Becaplermin.
Description PDGF-B Human Recombinant mature chain produced in E.Coli is a non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 109 amino acids fragment (82-190), fused with His Tag and Thioredoxin at N-Terminal, having a combined molecular mass of 30kDa. PDGF-B is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Uniprot Accesion Number P01127

Amino Acid Sequence

Source Escherichia Coli.
Physical Appearance and Stability Lyophilized PDGF-B, although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -20C. Upon reconstitution, PDGF-B should be stored at 4C for less than 7days, and for future use below -20C. For long-term storage, it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Formulation and Purity The protein was lyophilized from a concentrated protein in PBS, pH 7.4. Greater than 98.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Application
Solubility It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized Fibroblast Growth Factor Basic in sterile DI H2O not less than 100ug/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Biological Activity
Shipping Format and Condition Lyophilized powder at room temperature.
Usage Statement Our products are furnished for LABORATORY RESEARCH USE ONLY. The product may not be used as drugs, agricultural or pesticidal products, food additives or household chemicals.
