Transforming Growth Factor-Beta 1, Human Recombinant

Product Name Transforming Growth Factor-Beta 1, Human Recombinant
Synonyms Transforming growth factor beta-1, TGF-beta-1, CED, DPD1, TGFB, TGF-b 1, TGFB1.
Description TGF-b 1 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated, Polypeptide chain containing 112 amino acids fragment (279-390), fused with His Tag and Thioredoxin at N-Terminal, having a combined molecular mass of 31kDa. The TGF-beta 1 is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Uniprot Accesion Number P01137
Amino Acid Sequence
Source Escherichia Coli.
Physical Appearance and Stability Lyophilized Fibroblast Growth Factor-2, although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -20C. Upon reconstitution, TGF beta 1 should be stored at 4C for less than 7days, and for future use below -20C. For long-term storage, it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles
Formulation and Purity TGF-beta 1 was lyophilized from a 0.2um filtered concentrated protein solution in PBS, pH 7.4. Greater than 98.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Application
a. Cell culture Medium (iPSC medium et al)
b. In vitro cell stimulation assays
Solubility It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized Bone Morphogenetic Protein-4 in 0.5 sterile PBS, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Biological Activity Inducing ELK1/2 Phosphorylation in 293HEK cells
Shipping Format and Condition Lyophilized powder at room temperature.
