Physical Appearance and Stability	Store lyophilized Cystatin-C K9 at -20°C. Aliquot the product after reconstitution to avoid repeated freezing/thawing cycles. Reconstituted Cystatin-C can be stored at 4°C for a limited period of time; it does not show any change after two weeks at 4°C.
Formulation and Purity	K9 Cystatin-Cwas filtered (0.4µm) and lyophilized from 0.5mg/ml supplied in 20mM TRIS, 50mM NaCl, pH 7.5. Purity is greater than 95% as visualized by SDS-PAGE.
Application
Solubility	Add deionized water to prepare a working stock solution of 0.5 mg/ml and let the lyophilized pellet dissolve completely. Product is not sterile! Please filter the product by an appropriate sterile filter before using it in the cell culture.
