Physical Appearance and Stability Lyophilized Platelet-derived Growth Factor BB although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution PDGF BB should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C. Biological Activity The ED50as determined by a cell proliferation assay using murine Balb/c 3T3 cells is less than 2.0 ng/ml, corresponding to a specific activity of > 5.0 × 105 IU/mg.
