Physical Appearance and Stability Lyophilized Oncostatin M although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Solubility It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized Oncostatin M in sterile 18MO-cm H2O not less than 100µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Biological Activity The ED50 as determined by the dose-dependent stimulation of the proliferation of rat C6 cells is < 5.0 µg/ml, corresponding to a specific activity of > 200 units/mg.
