Physical Appearance and Stability Recombinant Human CTRB1 although stable at room temp for 1 week, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Formulation and Purity The Human CTRB1 was lyophilized without any additives. Greater than 95% as determined by HPLC.
Application
Solubility It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized Human CTRB1 in 1ml 50mM HAc which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Biological Activity 1100 units/mg protein. One unit is defined as the amount of enzyme that will hydrolyze 1.0 µmole of N-alpha-acetyl-L-tyrosine ethyl ester (ATEE) per min at pH 7.0 at 25°C.
