Physical Appearance and Stability Lyophilized IL-1A although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution IL1A should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C.For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Formulation and Purity The IL-1A protein was lyophilized from a 0.2µm filtered solution of PBS pH 7.4 with 10% trehalose as protectant. Greater than 97.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Solubility It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized IL1A in deionized water to a stock solution of 0.5mg/ml.
