Physical Appearance and Stability Lyophilized IL-28B although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Biological Activity The ED50 as determined by an anti-viral assay using human HepG2 cells infected with encephalomyocarditis is less than 30 ng/ml, corresponding to a specific activity of > 3.3 × 104 IU/mg.
