Physical Appearance and Stability Lyophilized IL 1RA although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution IL 1RA should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C.Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.

Application

Biological Activity Fully biologically active when compared to standard. Measured by its ability to inhibit IL1a-dependent proliferation in D10.G4.1 mouse helper T cells. The ED50 for this effect is typically 30-150ng/ml (corresponding to a specific activity of 6,667-33,334units/mg ) in the presence of 50pg/ml of rrIL1a.
