Physical Appearance and Stability Lyophilized IL-10 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution IL10 should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C.For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Formulation and Purity The IL10 was lyophilized from 1mg/ml in 10mM Tris-HCl, pH 7.4 and 150mM NaCl. Greater than 95% as obsereved by SDS-PAGE.
Application
Solubility It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized IL-10 in sterile water not less than 100µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Biological Activity The specific activity was determined by the dose-dependent stimulation of the proliferation of MC/9 cells (mouse mast cell line) in the presence of 200 pg/ml IL-4, and is typically 0.3-1.5ng/ml.
