Interferon-gamma Human Recombinant, HEK

Product Name Interferon-gamma Human Recombinant, HEK
Synonyms Immune Interferon, type II interferon, T cell interferon, MAF, IFNG, IFG, IFI, IFN-gamma.
Description Interferon-gamma Human Recombinant produced in HEK cells is a glycosylated monomer, having a molecular weight of 16.8kDa due to glycosylation. The IFNG is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Uniprot Accesion Number P01579

Amino Acid Sequence

Source HEK.
Physical Appearance and Stability Lyophilized IFN-G although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution IFNG should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C.For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Formulation and Purity The IFN-G protein was lyophilized from 1mg/ml in PBS pH 7.4. Greater than 95.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Application
Solubility It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized IFNG in sterile PBS containing 0.1% endotoxin-free recombinant HSA.
Biological Activity The biological activity was determined by a cytotoxicity assay using HT-29 cells, the ED50 is typically less than 0.05ng/ml.
Shipping Format and Condition Lyophilized powder at room temperature.
Usage Statement Our products are furnished for LABORATORY RESEARCH USE ONLY. The product may not be used as drugs, agricultural or pesticidal products, food additives or household chemicals.
