Description	IFNB1A Human Recombinant produced in HEK cells is a glycosylated protein having a molecular weight range of 18-22kDa due to glycosylation. The IFNB1A is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Physical Appearance and Stability	Lyophilized IFNB1A although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution IFNB1A should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Formulation and Purity	The IFNB1A was lyophilized in Sodium Acetate pH 4.8, 150mM NaCl and CHAPS. Greater than 95% as obsereved by SDS-PAGE.
Application
Solubility	It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized IFNB1A in sterile H2O.
Biological Activity	The activity as determined by dose dependent inhibition of proliferation of TF-1 cells1 was found to be ≤ 0.1 ng/ml.
