Description GRO Alpha Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single,non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 73 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 7811 Dalton. The GRO-alpha is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Uniprot Accesion Number P09341
Amino Acid SequenceThe sequence of the first five N-terminal amino acids was determined and was found to be Ala-Ser-Val-Ala-Thr.
Source Escherichia Coli.
Physical Appearance and Stability Lyophilized GRO-alpha although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution CXCL1 should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Formulation and Purity Lyophilized from a 0.2µm filtered concentrated (1mg/ml) solution in 20mM PB, pH 7.4, 50mM NaCl. Greater than 97.0% as determined by
Application
Solubility It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized CXCL1 in sterile 18MO-cm H2O not less than 100µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Biological Activity Determined by its ability to chemoattract human peripheral blood neutrophils using a concentration range of 10.0-100.0 ng/ml.
Shipping Format and Condition Lyophilized powder at room temperature.
