Physical Appearance and Stability Lyophilized Eotaxin although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution Eotaxin should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C.For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Formulation and Purity The Eotaxin was lyophilized from a 0.2µm filtered concentrated solution in 2×PBS, pH 7.0. Greater than 97.0% as determined by
Application
Solubility It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized Eotaxin Recombinant in sterile distilled H2O not less than 100µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Biological Activity Fully biologically active when compared to standard. The biological activity determined by a chemotaxis bioassay using human peripheral blood eosinophils is in a concentration range of 0.1-10.0 ng/ml corresponding to a specific activity of 1.0 × 105 - 1.0 × 107 IU/mg.
Shipping Format and Condition Lyophilized powder at room temperature.
Usage Statement Our products are furnished for LABORATORY RESEARCH USE ONLY. The products may not be used as drugs, agricultural or pesticidal products, food additives or household chemicals.
