Preparation	This antibody was produced from a hybridoma (mouse myeloma fused with spleen cells) from a mouse immunized with recombinant human Histone H2AY. Histone H2AY is also called macro H2A1 (MH2A1) and H2AFY and is a 40kDa variant of the histone family, basic nuclear proteins responsible for the nucleosome structure of the chromosomal fiber in eukaryotes.
Formulation and Storage	The IgG fraction of culture supernatant was purified by Protein G affinity chromatography and lyophilized from a 0.2um filtered solution in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS). Lyophilized samples are stable for 2 years from the date of receipt when stored at -70C
Specificity	This antibody recognizes human Histone H2AY in direct ELISAs and WBs. It cross reacts with mouse and rat Histone H2AY in WBs.
Reconstitution	Reconstitute the antibody with 500ul sterile PBS and the final concentration is 200ug/ml. Reconstituted antibody can also be aliquoted and stored frozen at < -20 for at least for six months without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
