Physical Appearance and Stability Lyophilized FGF4 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution FGF-4 should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C.Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Formulation and Purity The FGF4 protein was lyophilized with 2xPBS, pH 7.4. Greater than 95.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Application
Solubility It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized FGF4 Human Recombinant sterile 18M-cm H2O not less than 100µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Biological Activity The ED50 as determined by the dose-dependent stimulation of thymidine uptake by BaF3 cells expressing FGF receptors is <0.5ng/ml, corresponding to a specific activity of > 2,000,000units/mg.
