Physical Appearance and Stability Lyophilized FGF-18 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Biological Activity The ED50 as determined by the dose-dependent stimulation of thymidine uptake by BaF3 cells expressing FGF-receptors is < 0.5ng/ml, corresponding to a specific activity of > 2.0×106 units/mg.
